Summary
A collection of short, unbeta'd oneshots. Mostly stuff from random prompt lists or unpolished stuff I wrote on a whim.
Chapter titles are labeled with the prompt (if applicable) and characters.
Latest oneshot: Héctor and Imelda just want to go for a peaceful walk, only for them to walk straight into danger.

We've seen how Hector is, especially with children. Getting sucked in, too nice for his own good.
Most likely taken in a missing kid now and then over the course of being dead.
What happens when he comes across an orphan child in the LOTD?

Summary
There is no Miguel Rivera who got cursed on Día de los Muertos, because there’s no Rivera family in Oaxaca – or any place in Mexico for that matter – that has banned music. Why would there ever be a music ban from a family that shares the same surname as Mexico’s star? Instead, it is a young boy by the name of Marco de la Cruz who gets cursed after being confronted with his family’s ancestral ban on music, winding up in the Land of the Dead, forced to search for his great-great grandfather. Thankfully, he isn’t alone, for he has the help of a charming rogue named Ernesto.
Join him, dear reader, in this tale of music, shoes and family.

Summary
Héctor Rivera, a music teacher who lives with his best friend, abruptly finds himself in the role of a parental figure when his primo Enrique and Luisa are killed in a car accident. And he will be the first to state that it is a bad idea. He may be the boy's godfather and he adores Miguel, but Héctor is fully convinced that giving him that much responsibility will only end in disaster. After all, taking care of himself is already hard enough. Adding a grieving child that he doesn't know how to help won't make it any easier.
And if that wasn't enough, there are two people moving into the same apartment building. Imelda and her daughter, Coco, are starting a new life after the woman's husband abandoned them. Imelda is ready to get to work at rebuilding. She has a daughter to take care of, after all. She doesn't have time to cry over that man. They didn't need him. And she certainly didn't have time to notice the young man who lived in the same building, even if Coco seemed to like him.

Summary
Héctor expected the end of the school year to be celebrated a bit differently. Maybe a Staff's Night Out at a local bar, or a small party in the staffroom with homemade treats brought in on trays. The last thing, the very last thing he expects to come out of Imelda's mouth, is a staff vs staff dodgeball tournament.
