Summary
After Hannibal pushed Will too far during a session, Will leaves for his Father's home to escape work, life, and Hannibal Lecter.
Three weeks pass by, and no one knows what has happened to Will Graham. Hannibal, realizing he has gone too far, tries to bring his boy home.
What begins as a confrontation becomes a week's worth of lessons shared.
Will teaches Hannibal the wildness of his roots, the anonymity of being unknown, and the freedom that comes with stripping away his mask. Hannibal, in turn, offers Will refinement, patience, and a devotion edged with control, structure, and stability that helps soothe Will's troubled mind.
Between learning each other's lifestyles by dancing around each other, literally, stormy days, starlit nights, and Will's overprotective father, Beau Graham—boundaries begin to blur into something neither man can turn away from.

Will Graham never joined the force, never went to school. Haunted by a brutal childhood and burdened by a mind that won’t let him forget, he spends his life running his dog rescue out of his cluttered home in Wolf Trap, no structure, just fur and chaos and the fragile peace animals bring. As Will’s episodes worsen and memories from his past claw their way to the surface, he finds himself drawn to the man who seems to be the only one to truly see him. What begins as therapy teeters into obsession, danger, and a connection.

Will Graham, a former sculpture artist turned indie method actor who has just been cast in a blockbuster trilogy, has no earthly idea how to Hollywood, leading to low popularity ratings that don't please the movie's studio backers. His manager, the wily Frederick Chilton, dreams up the oddest solution: enlist Beverly Hills socialite, psychiatrist and LACMA patron Hannibal Lecter to both keep a watchful eye on Will and pose as his boyfriend, generating good press. Foolproof. Kinda. Except when Will gets a little too close to his character and finds himself implicated in string of gruesome LA killings.

After scouring Baltimore for an adequate restorations expert, showing his face at the tackiest of exhibitions and galleries just to insert himself into the appropriate circles, inviting the shallowest of critics and the most pompous of collectors to dine at his table, finally he had heard, at a routine dinner with an old colleague, of all people, that if he had a job that he wanted done properly, then he had to go here.
