Madam Qin let her daughter continue her diatribe, just as she continued to calmly and efficiently fold spare clothes and slide them into her qiankun pouch.
When Qin Su finally took a breath, Madam Qin said quietly, “It’s not so simple. My nephew disowned me because he blamed me for his father’s death. It…was a complicated time. And I am certain there is more to this as well.”
