As it turns out, venting to the random girl sitting next to him was the best goddamn decision he’s ever made because she accidentally gave Tommy the greatest idea he’s ever had:
He was going to summon a demon to fix all his problems.
Who cares if it’s technically ‘dangerous’ or that ‘this could have serious consequences’. Tommy’s situation couldn’t get any worse. Literally nothing could be more unpleasant than having to walk between classes in wet socks because his milk carton exploded over him during his lunchtime sprawl.

Summary
The life of a hero is not an easy one to live. Sometimes when you are written into this life the young grape gets plucked too early, and when fermented it turns into bitter vinegar instead of a sweet wine that could have aged classically for the end of time. Just because our hero get's lost on his way doesn't mean he will never be set back on his path of good, he just need the right author to end his story. Or maybe he'll rip the pages out of his book himself and write himself a new, better story.

Wilbur wakes up on an abandoned island and is forced to fend for himself and survive while trying to find a way off it.
Tommy was about to drown when a siren saved him. In order to save him though, Tommy was given a curse that bounded him to the sunken shipwreck.

The beach is lively when he gets there, with scattered people in each area and Tommy almost feels uncomfortable, shifting the backpack on his shoulder and thanking the Uber driver as he slips out of the backseat, until he recognizes a tall man standing in waiting by the entrance, leaning against the stone wall and gazing at something on his phone.
“Wil!” he calls, trying for enthusiasm despite the way his voice cracks a little, and he lifts a hand to wave to the man, who looks just as ecstatic to see him, grinning widely and pocketing his phone to walk over in two strides.
“Tommy!” Wilbur responds, standing in front of him now with the biggest smile on his face, as though Tommy were the very sun in the sky itself (and if there’s a flicker of concern as he takes in the boy’s features, the way his hands shake a tad and the restless that clings underneath his eyelids, Tommy doesn’t seem to notice).

Dream is in prison, his days filled with nothing but desolate loneliness and the steady gurgling of the lava curtain. He hated it. But now, he would do anything to go back to those days of solitude before Quackity began his daily visits.
Sam is conflicted. As the warden of Pandora’s Vault, it is his duty to keep Dream alive and securely locked inside. When Quackity approached him two and a half months ago with the idea of torturing Dream for knowledge of the revive book, he knew that this was outside the scope of his job. Yet, he agreed, because Dream is a monster, one who has hurt and manipulated countless people over and over again. He knows that Dream is a monster, but it gets harder and harder to remember that when Dream is steadily becoming a broken, apologetic, and terrified shell of the man he once was.
Wilbur is finally free. After thirteen and a half years spent in Limbo after his death, newly revived Wilbur is back. The first thing he wants to do is thank Dream, his hero, for reviving him. But, apparently, the man is locked in prison because he is a “monster”. Regardless, Wilbur decides to visit Dream, and the state he finds the once-powerful tyrant in is truly terrifying and sickening.

He was also with his brother who in this AU had enough time to think through his actions and wanted to be a better brother once any of his family members or friends came to the afterlife eventually.

When Tommy was 15, he was diagnosed with insomnia. Ever since then, he has been dependent on prescription medication to fall asleep. But when he's packing to spend the night at Wilbur's house, he decides to leave it at home.
Or, Tommy doesn't take his insomnia medication and can't fall asleep when spending the night at Wilbur's house.
(Clonidine is a medication used for a variety of things such as high blood pressure, anxiety, and insomnia. In this fic, Tommy takes it for his insomnia.)
