Summary
As Douglas F Eiffel, the newest resident of Camden, New Jersey, merges onto Interstate 676, he thinks about Hallmark movies.
Look. You can't blame him for it.
Luckily for Doug, he's quickly distracted from holiday blues: there are strange clones appearing in town, a mysterious landlady, even more mysterious corner store owner, and unsettling coworkers to worry about. Oh, and the fifth annual Legally Undifferentiated Corporate Holiday Season Party, whose traditional cheer is threatened by all those clones.

Summary
What begins as a good-old fashioned, USS Hephaestus style mechanical emergency rapidly devolves into a deep space nightmare clusterfuck of "Alien 3" proportions when the ship goes dark and the Empty Man arrives at last, forcing the Hephaestus crew to ask themselves how well they really know one another and what they're willing to sacrifice to make it back home.
Set in an AU where Hera is human and serves as both the ship's primary mechanic and navigator. Also set in an AU where no one can complain to me about inaccuracies because I know absolutely nothing about outer space or engineering.
Disclaimer: Happy ending guaranteed because I, in my old age, can no longer stomach unresolved angst.

Watering some plants and baby-sitting his nephew shouldn't have been quite this complicated, even for Doug Eiffel. And yet, there he was sopping wet on his cute neighbor's kitchen floor, regretting every choice he'd made today.
Plus jam of unknown origin, hand-holding, and scientifically accurate polka-dot rocket ships.
