Because after facing an evil traitor turned dictator turned god, a battle that had been the culmination of parsons spent in absolute terror while desperately trying to achieve the scientific impossible – and succeeding twice at least, it was worth mentioning –, Krel thought that he would have been allowed to... rest, as the humans said. Adjusting to his new life on Earth, having fun with his friends, spending time with his boyfriend. That had seemed reasonable.
