And then the sweetest little word falls from Max’s lips, dripping honey and mountain-lake quiet, and Charles might come even with his eyes closed.
“Please,” Max whispers, body tensing so tight he’s almost vibrating with it, as if saying it cost him more than Charles could ever imagine. Breath stutters in Charles’ chest, coming out staccato to brush over the thin, pink skin of Max’s throat. Max shudders, head tilting further back.
“Baby,” Charles says, satiny soft and barely audible, his hand running down Max’s side to grip possessively at his waist. He takes another chance. “Want me to fuck you, yes? Want me to put my cock in you, feel how deep it goes?”

A trace of humor, maybe; something that yells I’m obviously joking, you idiot and calms his now racing pulse. But all he finds is seriousness, an abyss in the midst of Charles’ emeralds so profound that Max’s not sure whether to be terrified or allured.
“And how…” He begins, slow. Calculated. Charles' gaze doesn’t change the slightest. “How the fuck would we do that?”
“I mean, just like this,” Charles bites his bottom lip. “We race. We go to dinner. Whoever won gets to propose.”

Lando has his heart set on visiting the new club in town and if it was any other type of club Max would have said yes but it isn't. The new club is a strip club. He has nothing against anyone who chooses to visit a strip club but Max just thinks it would be a little awkward like all those half naked men and women around him.

Max has been in love with Charles Leclerc for as long as he can remember... It was easy to hide though. He just pretended he hated him. He didn't really hate him though, but he did annoy him. Why did the boy with the green eyes stir feelings in him that he didn't understand?
After a rough first few years in F1, Max tried to befriend Charles, but kept his true feelings to himself. Not just because being gay in a male dominated sport was tricky and his father had 'strong' opinions on it, but because he was convinced Charles would never feel the same way about him. Charles was always surrounded by the most beautiful girls. The man was a people magnet. Loved by everyone. Max was the exact opposite. His bluntness and brutal honesty getting him into trouble more than once.
So Max decided that if he could have Charles as his friend, that would be enough and he kept his feelings to himself.
Until a huge bombshell is dropped on the F1 world....
