Summary
“Wanna fly?”
Clark had asked one evening over takeout, out of no-where.
“I hate to break it to you, Clark, but I don't think that's possible.” Bruce judged bemusedly. “Last time I checked, I can't really do that.”
“You know what I meant,” Clark rolled his eyes in amusement.
“Right.” Bruce gave him a mock glare, lips twitching in faint amusement. “So, where do you plan on taking us, exactly?”
Clark clearly took this as a “yes” and his whole demeanor showed it. He sat up straighter in some sort of exasperation, his face showing such wild excitement. His eyes were so wide that the blue looked even crisper on his scleras. He looked so sweet, and Bruce felt all of the “no”’s and “Maybe later”’s pour out onto the apartment floor.
“The Atlantic ocean,” Clark beamed down at him, like going to the Atlantic on a random afternoon was completely normal. Then again, they themselves were not normal.
“Wh–the Atlantic ocean?” Bruce said in bewilderment.
