Summary
In the shadowy streets and rooftops of Treviso, Rook—born Ellana, daughter of the Hero of Ferelden and Zevran Arainai—has risen swiftly through the ranks of the Antivan Crows, but her life is about to change. When renowned storyteller Varric Tethras and Inquisition scout Lace Harding track her down, Rook is pulled into a mission of dire importance: stopping Solas, the Dread Wolf, from tearing down the Veil and unmaking the world.
Faced with the legacy of her legendary parents, Rook must decide whether she’s ready to betray the Crows and join a cause larger than any contract she’s ever taken.
--------
A novelisation of the game, with plenty of tension, angst, and the love story we all needed. Expect soft Lucanis, a bloodthirsty MC, big brother Viago, and plenty of Crow drama.

Summary
What if "Dragon Age: The Veilguard" was not stuck in such a development hell? What if Project Joplin had not wholly been abandoned? What if we truly had received a game more in line with the first three?
A hypothetical look into an alternate universe where the fourth Dragon Age had a tad fewer problems in its 10-year development cycle.
Disclaimer: I don't hate the game, I actually think it's quite great given the development hell Bioware went through in those 10 years. This is more of a hypothetical universe where there was less of that behind-the-scenes drama. Just a fun writing exercise.

Summary
It was a casual, nothing of a smile, but it was warm and human and, after a year of nothing but cold eyes and cruel hands, it threatened something load-bearing in his heart.
Spite rattled in his bones as he dropped his gaze.
Lightning and Lavender oil. Hearth smoke and Honey.
Mierda, Spite. A demon in my head I can handle, but an amateur poet? That might kill me.
She Smells good.

Summary
Rook's life hasn't been an easy one. From surviving under the Qun as a Saarebas to eventually escaping and finding a new purpose with the Grey Wardens, now she's expected to save the world from a pair of ancient elven gods when she can barely keep her own wild magic under control. Guess it's a good thing the team includes a seasoned professor with a gentle touch who might, quite possibly, be the first true connection Rook has ever felt after a lifetime of pain and distrust.
A long-fic re-telling of the events surrounding Dragon Age: The Veilguard. but with major focus on original content involving the moments in between the known story beats. The moments that happen before and after missions and the moments during downtime that forge relationships, that force periods of reflection, that nourish the soul, that cause us to grow, that refill the emotional reserves to press forward, that remind us why - and for whom - we are fighting.

Summary
When Lucanis arrived at the lighthouse, Rook’s gaze inevitably found the little details that made him unique. She noticed the buttons on his shirt first—silver skulls shaped like crow heads. Then there was the silver chain around his neck, catching the faint light of the room and flickering with his every movement.
There was a quiet elegance to the way silver framed him, softening the harsh angles of his face, making the cold glint in his eyes seem almost tender.
He looked… unexpectedly lovely in silver.
It caught her off guard, this sudden realization. Lucanis was not a man given to adornment or display; he was careful, reserved, a shadow that moved silently between light and darkness. Yet beneath that careful exterior, the silver seemed to pull something from him that few had ever seen — something fragile, almost ethereal.
A thought came to her then, like insistent whisper: he should have more. More silver, more little touches of light to catch and hold in the darkness.
Yes. He should have more.––––––
Or: Five times Rook gifted Lucanis something made of silver, and one time Lucanis gifted silver to her.

Summary
The plan was simple enough: Track down slavers, uncover a conspiracy, maybe stab a few people along the way.
But what starts as a mission for the new Archon soon leads to something far messier. Between navigating the tangled loyalties of House Dellamorte, dodging assassins and rogue Templars, and once again trying not to kill her lover's cousin, Rook finds herself grappling with the one thing she never learned how to deal with: belonging.
A post-canon story about family, love, betrayal, and what comes after - featuring red lyrium conspiracies, old and new friends, and a mage who discovers that killing a few gods was, in fact, the easy part.

Summary
Jacobus' graduation ceremony was held the following evening, and the Cantori Diamond pulsed with life. Music spilled from every chamber - sharp and bright - violins soaring above the deeper hum of lutes and low laughter. Gold and black Crow banners draped the balconies. Someone had magicked the chandelier to glow in the shape of a diving crow, talons outstretched, casting spinning shadows across a room filled with raised cups and dancing feet. Tonight wasn’t about politics, poison, or knives in the dark.
Tonight was for Jacobus.

Summary
So she left the Diamond, Lucanis and Taash flanking her without a word. Their presence was steadying, grounding her as they moved through the narrow alleys and into the heart of the market district. As they approached Café Pietra, the hairs on the back of Rook’s neck rose. A prickle of instinct. The kind of silence that meant something. The warm fragrance of coffee and pastries was gone. No quiet laughter, no clink of cups or murmur of midday conversation. Just stillness. And that uneasy weight curling in her gut like smoke.
"I don't like this, Rook," Lucanis said quietly, his voice barely more than a breath at her ear as she hesitated before the café's door. His hand found the small of her back, steady and firm - a silent anchor. She stiffened at the contact, then exhaled slowly, her shoulders loosening just enough for the tension to bleed out through her fingertips.
“I know,” she murmured. Her gloved hand hovered over the iron handle, her eyes narrowing as she studied the frosted glass. No sound from within. No scent of coffee or wine. Only the faint scent of oil and steel. Something was wrong.

“Well, if I promise to keep nagging you about your expression, do you think Heir would let you leave for a bit? I have an errand to run in town while Lucanis is occupied and could use some help.”
Jacobus grinned, springing to his feet, his excitement at possibly getting out of the Diamond and away from his training palpable. Rook could see why Heir wanted him to work on controlling his expressions. “Yes, absolutely. What do you need?”
