Since they can’t write him off, the producers decide to de-age Castiel. Because of some plot hole, they have to de-age Castiel to a 13-year-old vessel. To make things more difficult, they have gone with Destiel in the last two seasons, so now, they have to cast a 13-year-old boy to play a love interest to a 38-year-old man.
As production starts for the new season, the show casts Mika White, an ex-Disney actor, 13 years old, a shy, small kid. He is introduced to Jensen and Jared and to the producers, who make Mika sign off on a contract about his scenes (underage kissing and sex scenes) as well as nude scenes, but only butt.
