Pomni is the newest human trapped in a digital, modern detective special ops world. Her first mission is to go undercover and infiltrate a week-long formal dance for the rich and powerful after a grizzly murder took place at the hotel where it's being hosted, but she can't go alone. Jax, a seasoned yet impertinent ex-sniper, is assigned as her partner. They must pretend to be newlyweds to maintain their cover; the only problem is, they can't stand each other. Tensions are high, but an underlying desire is higher. Will they be able to maintain their cover and bring the culprit to justice, or succumb to their passion and risk losing it all?
