After adollium, a newly-discovered material, was transferred to research institutes across the globe, Daisuke and Haru are active overseas handling illegal adollium exchanges and related cases. The buddy-detective duo continues to clash over methods and personality; despite this, they soon fall into this familiar rhythm of nabbing bad guys, relying on Daisuke's unconventional methods of his wealth and technology, and indulging in Haru's love for stakeouts, with bits of banter shoved in between.
Their routine goes haywire, however, when they face the emergence of another new material, a former supermodel with a hidden agenda, and shocking revelations that bring the dark truth of the Kambe family to light. While Haru is forced to confront his unaddressed self-reproach, Daisuke has to face the dark truth behind his family's legacy, and together they delve deeper into a case that will challenge not only their roles as detectives but their very sense of identity.

Extract: (( All he knew in this moment that he wanted to hear Daisuke's voice, even though he might say something snarky and piss him off even more, but even so...he is about to call him and sees that it was just past 7:00 A.M. and his finger stops above the call button and he puts the phone down, ''He must still be sleeping right now...when did he go to sleep last night...did he even sleep properly...maybe I should do it later, he is cranky if he is woken up before his sleep is completed...'' A million reasons that sounded like excuses even to his own ears flashes inside his mind. ))
Haru and Daisuke had a major argument, after which Haru refused to be the first one to apologize and make up with his equally stubborn partner, but soon Haru finds his pride crumbling, and he reaches out, but he can't get through to him as Daisuke has left him in Japan and flown to God knows where, trying to solve a dangerous adollium mission by himself. Haru puts his pride aside, and follows him if only to drag him back home safely, but will Daisuke want to return to how things were between them?

Haru and Daisuke rescue a girl from a hostage situation, while trying to apprehend a known Arms Dealer who was a notorious criminal. After they rescue her, she starts developing feelings for Haru as the case progresses, due to his kindness and bright smile, which he is oblivious to, but Daisuke had noticed ríght away. She decides to ask him out to dinner, but Haru tells her he wouldn't go without Daisuke. How would the evening end and whose heart will break?

As they're training in ASV one day, they receive a tip of a deal taking place in Las Vegas. How big of a challenge will it be for Haru, who had never been to a casino before or even gambled? As Daisuke offers to teach him, they make a bet of their own? Who will win at the end?

Haru and Daisuke are chasing an adollium dealing, but following Daisuke's order to split up, they both end up getting captured and they wake up in a room handcuffed (!!) together. They have to figure out a way out, but since adollium is activated, their ASV suits become useless and they can't contact Suzue.

Summary
Haru's still getting used to the international crime fighting and his new ASV, but he does have Daisuke to help him with both. After getting dropped off yet another bridge, he's rearing for a bit of payback, especially since Daisuke won't stop provoking him...
“Fight me.”
“You’d lose.”
“I’d still get some real training,” Haru reasoned, before adding on the confession, “And I still want to punch you for dropping me from the bridge.”
The grin on Daisuke’s face widened. “Right away, inspector.”
