“I’m Momo Yaoyorozu,” She smiled, wiping a stray tear from her eye. Denki was- to put it bluntly, down bad, but he would’ve preferred to use the word - entranced. It made him sound less pathetic, even if it was just in his mind. “And you are?”
“Uhm, Denki Kaminari!” He wiped his palm- which had been becoming increasingly sweaty- off on his pants, holding it out for her to shake. “I, uh, I work at the pet shop across the street.”
Momo gasped in delight, happily taking his hand, “Oh, you do? That shop has been such a help in getting this place up and running.” She exhaled, placing a hand to her chest, “I shouldn’t, but I’ll admit that I’ve had to run over a couple times to stock up on more cat food, already. These guys don’t play when it comes to dinner time, I’ll tell you that.” She winked, laughing brightly.
“Uh huh, yep. Cats, gotta love em’, right?” Denki said, like an idiot.
Who was he, immediately throwing out all of his morals just because of a pretty girl who ran the store opposite him?!
Denki’s eyes darted back and forth over Momo.
But what a pretty girl she was.

Momo wasn’t glaring. Her head tilted slightly, like she was waiting for him to catch onto something. Was… Denki squinted… Was Momo smiling at him?
Oh. Maybe she wasn’t mad. She didn’t look mad, anyways. She just looked- patient, like she wasn’t in any rush to look away. Like she thought he was something worth looking at. It wasn’t intimidating anymore. Her gaze was warm, almost comforting. Like the kind of sunlight you’d sit under just to feel the heat on your skin. It was- reassuring.
Denki swallowed. He realized he liked it being directed at him quite a lot, actually.

Slipping under the stanchions holding the red, velvet rope separating them, Denki approached Momo. His eyes darted up and down, scanning her outfit. Momo was about a rough two seconds away from imploding.
“Say…” Denki started, circling her, his movements almost teasing, “How would you feel about designing my outfit for the next Chargebolt concert, hm?”
Huh?
"Huh?" Momo repeated out loud, her head whipping back to face Denki's.
