At the creaking of the rooftop door, the early morning sun rose above the buildings, shining and reflecting off of the windowed skyscrapers in what resembled the night sky. The horizon-line was littered with tops of buildings, ad-boards, and just the slightest haze of fog hanging over the city.
Beneath them, the slow, sluggish morning carried on. Cars honked, the busy streets of Seoul bustled, as it seemed they always did. Everyone down there had a place to be. Gi-hun knew he had a place to be, too, yet now, it was right where he’d found himself— atop the roof.
The cool scent of the air filled his nose, a light breeze just barely biting through his scrubs, sending goosebumps down his arms towards the back of his neck. Spring-time was on the cusp of ringing true, you could smell it. That was Sang-woo’s favorite season.

Still haunted by the game Gihun refuses to give up on ending them for good. Saebyeok just want to find her remaining family but doesn't want to leave Gihun to fall into a never ending cycle after everything he did for her. Sangwoo is haunted by the thing he did in the games hoping to atone for his wrongs he sticks by Gihun and Saebyeok side. When Gihun finally gets a chance to go back into the games he jumps at the chance but the other two cant bring themselves to go back to hanuted by the past. With the help of old and new friends they just might have a chance.
An alternative story but with a twist that ties Saebyeok, Daeho and No-eul together as siblings.
