Summary
After the crumbling of the keep, the Valar send Cersei to Middle Earth, sort of as a redemption opportunity. Now she has to adapt to life as an elf in Rivendell, another sister, another daughter - while another war is brewing on the horizon.
It's a war that brings a familiar face in her line of sight, and damn it, she is supposed to help these people, not start an additional war between elves and humans because her son might or might not have wanted his head in another world.
So yes, maybe Boromir and her are not the best of friends - but does it truly matter when the stakes are so high.Aka my take on the 10th walker mixed with a crack-crossover and bonding over Tywin and Denethor's A+ parenting.
Somehow it also turned out to be a bit of a character study about a woman who truly needs a couple of thousand years to come to terms with the fact that love might not always be hurtful and hateful.

Summary
When Aragorn wanders through Mirkwood on the eve of the late Queen’s birthday, he does not expect to meet the elusive young prince of the Woodland Realm. Nor does Legolas expect to find a lone ranger trespassing through the trees while he himself avoids the palace halls and the weight of remembrance.
What begins as an unlikely, yet beautiful friendship quickly blossoms into more as the two grow closer.
This is a love story from beginning to end.

“The Return of the King” alternate ending.
Whilst disguised as orcs within Mount Doom’s foothills, Frodo and Sam were discovered and brought to Sauron. The Dark Lord reclaimed his Ring and imprisoned the Hobbits within the darkest cell of Barad-dûr. However, even reunited with his Ring, Sauron was not yet powerful enough to take a corporal form, and so . . . he took another one. One from a lineage he had long obsessed over, loathed, even feared, and whose form was as precious to the beings of Middle-earth as The Ring of Power was to Sauron.
OR— Sauron imprisons Frodo and Sam, possesses Aragorn’s body, and Legolas risks everything — gives everything—- in an effort to save them.

Summary
Éowyn and Faramir, both very much single and very much frustrated with both their families and their love life, meet on the 24th of December in a London bar. Instant attraction, meddling friends, mistletoes and a lot of bubbling feelings lead to a one night stand - which would be fine if Faramir hadn't forgotten the infamous Family Christmas Brunch over it and if gossip didn't travel that fast. Suddenly, they all want to meet 'that girl', while being just as chaotic and judgemental as always. It will be embarrassing, horror really, unless Éowyn decides to play along.
Éowyn for her part finds herself caught up in a whirlwind romantic cliché she neither wanted nor expected and this might even be not so bad - if she hadn't lied to Faramir about her true origin in the first place.- Holiday Fluff with a little bit of drama about slightly entitled people with very human problems, rated a spicy T -

The hobbits reminisce upon their childhoods with Frodo. The bonds they forged in the nursery, up a tree, or over a shared meal; the bonds that not even a life-altering quest or a looming dark lord could undo.
The fellowship realise their little ones share a history that runs deeper than casual camaraderie. Perhaps their own interconnections with the ring-bearer have been short-lived by comparison, but they unfold to be no less fulfilling.

Legolas has grown up not knowing anything beyond the borders of Mirkwood. When Thranduil informs him that he must travel to the other elven realms to learn, Legolas knows his life is about to change. Not knowing what awaits him, he decides to do everything in his power to make his father proud and return to him as soon as possible. However, that may all change when he meets someone that sets his soul on fire with just one look. Will he be able to walk away in the end? Or will he choose this person over the father he promised to return to?
