    Summary

Sixty years have passed since Thranduil pronounced judgment—and now, on the eve of its end, Elrohir rides for Greenwood to keep the vow he made: to win the trust of the wood-elves and their king.

Within the forest’s embrace, he and Legolas are reunited at last—older, changed, but no less bound. Yet the path ahead is far from simple. The memory of old wounds lingers, not only between lovers, but between realms. In a court where Noldorin blood is met with wary eyes, and both Sindar and Silvan pride run deep, Elrohir must earn his place among those who have not forgotten the legacy he bears.

As the lovers navigate fragile politics, ancient prejudice, and the quiet trials set before them, another shadow stirs—deeper and older than mistrust. From Dol Guldur comes a darkness not yet named, threading through dream and root and song. Greenwood watches. And not all who walk beneath its leaves do so with kind intent.

    Summary

When Elven King Thranduil and young Prince Legolas rescue a wounded white wolf pup, they never imagine she's a skin-changer who will claim their hearts as family. For years, Vána moves between palace and wild, growing magnificent and fierce, until she vanishes without a trace.

Seven years later, she returns broken and scarred from captivity, collapsing at the palace gates. But this time, desperation forces her first transformation into human form.

"Help me,"she whispers before losing consciousness, and Thranduil realizes the beloved wolf who once demanded belly rubs and saved his life is now a beautiful, traumatized woman struggling to speak, to trust, to exist in skin that feels foreign.

As she learns human customs and battles PTSD, Thranduil finds himself torn between seeing her as the cherished pack member she's always been and the fierce, magnificent woman she's becoming. She may understand pack dynamics, but elvish court politics and his own growing desire are far more dangerous territories.

Some bonds transcend species. Some love stories begin with a rescued pup and end with a queen.

    Summary

At the end of the Second Age, the Elven Houses struggle for unity, and love often becomes a casualty of duty. At a festival meant to bridge realms, old loyalties run deep: Círdan’s eldest daughter, Meríliel (main OC) is promised to Glorfindel in a political union between Mithlond (the Grey Havens) and Imladris, while her brother Calenion (also OC) is bound to wed Thranduil’s eldest daughter, Lóthien (also OC). Yet amidst oaths and obligations, Meríliel finds her soul drawn to Legolas, sparking tensions that threaten both families and alliances. When tragedy strikes, hearts falter, promises are broken, and the tides of fate begin to pull them all apart.

This story usually updates weekly and aims to remain canon-friendly, mostly following The Silmarillion and Unfinished Tales. Several original characters fill in the blanks left by Tolkien, and each is woven carefully into the story, mentioned where relevant.

    Summary

The elves of Rivendell murmured among themselves, disbelief rippling through their ranks. How could the youngest elf in all of Middle-earth, the littlest prince of Mirkwood, Thranduil’s youngest son, be chosen to represent the entire elven race on a quest to save the world? An elf from one of the darkest, most mysterious realm, clueless about the wider world and its workings, and unmistakably strange. Why him?

TL;DR: How Legolas survived his childhood and went on to become the most infuriatingly weird elf in history.

    Summary

Estel was warm and solid, his murmured words soothing as he held Legolas together. Slowly but surely, the prince’s sobs began to ebb. All his energy had seeped out of him with the tears, and he could barely muster the will to be embarrassed as Estel helped ease him back against the stone wall like a sleepy child who had worn himself out fussing.

The pair sat quietly for a moment, then Legolas spoke in a thin voice. “They said she died quickly, I should find some comfort in that."

“That is little comfort to a son without a mother.”

    The hobbits gasped.

"You're of noble blood." Sam whispered, his voice rich with respect.

"Your Highness, I gravel at your feet." Pippin bowed.

"It's grovel, Pippin." Merry reprimanded from his kneeling position.

"You did not tell them, mellon nin?" Elladan chuckled.

"It is of no importance." Legolas said stiffly.

    "No importance!?" Sam squawked.

"I am no better than any of you. Though I bear the title of Prince, I am no different." Legolas said, his jaw tightening.

The king is distracted, more and more often, and when he and Galion are alone together in their office, Thranduil only really wants to talk about one thing.

‘Do you think he will leave me again?

“Do you think he hates me?’

‘He has grown up to be very impressive, don’t you think? His mother would be proud,’ he says, and then seems to collapse into self-loathing.

    Summary

She was chosen for diplomacy. He was chosen by fate.
Bound by politics, theirs was never meant to be a love story. It began in silence; two heirs standing at the edge of duty, born of different worlds.
A half-Elf of Rivendell, wild as the wind and crowned in starlight. A Prince of Mirkwood, carved from shadow and storm, sworn to his people.
They were strangers shaped by history. Heirs made symbols. But hearts do not follow treaties.
In the stillness between war and whispers, he fell.
    Slowly. Utterly. Irrevocably.
For the way she spoke to horses in a voice softer than moonlight, for the way she carried her sorrow like a blade.
He would follow her into the heart of cursed ruins, to the edge of flame and memory. He would raise his bow against the Valar themselves if they dared take her from him.
She was never meant to be his.
    But now, she is everything.
And for her, he would bring down kingdoms.

    Summary

Thranduil’s realm has stood apart for centuries—silent, secretive, and sealed against the outside world. The aloof king trusts no one beyond his borders, least of all the grim and prideful Noldor.

When young Prince Legolas, playful and curious despite his father’s stern warnings, strays too close to Imladris, he is captured by the infamous twin sons of Elrond. Elladan and Elrohir—war-hardened, merciless, and known for hunting orcs with cold precision—are not prepared for the golden-haired wood elf who stirs more than just suspicion.

Bound by ancient grudges and deep scars, both realms stand on the edge of renewed conflict. But amid the tension, one of Elrond’s sons begins to see past the bloodlines and borders—to the light in Legolas that refuses to dim.

And light has always drawn shadow.
