Summary
Decorated by the Queen of the Dominion for taking part in abating an unprecedented crisis in Summerset, Lliryn basks in the glow of his achievement. And at his side, sharing in it with him, is Valsir. Their friendship had been sown and tended during that crisis. Despite the success, the two still stand at apexes of loss, struggling uselessly against this bright inevitability, claws bared but eyes soft.
We enter the scene in the moments of Lliryn's confession of desire for his friend, after a dream-like evening of walking arm-in-arm through Alinor Palace.

Summary
Lliryn, Gilthus, S'aqar, and Bana, lead by Nara, have begun their expedition in Skyrim, sent as representatives of the Dominion during a time of a strange and unusual war in the far Northeast. Settling down to rest after a VERY messy first day of deployment, Lliryn is beset by a whirlwind of his own personal hells. Caught between the heartache of once again departing from Valsir and the inevitability that by the end of this journey he will be the closest he's been in two years to the now destroyed Morrowind, he seeks to drown his misery. But, when your only viable option for a 'good' time is a sadist piece of shit fuckass with violent insecurity, the misery simply compounds.
CW: Consensual blowjob turns pretty non-consensual after a while, and some Bad Thoughts are had. This fic is messy and ugly and Lliryn is an exceedingly disturbed and complicated man, you'll have to forgive him. Don't forgive Gilthus though, he MUST be beaten with hammers.

Summary
Written for Secunda's EP "To Seize Eternity at the Shore of Sleep " inspired by my character Gael Velyn, this piece contains various excerpts from Lliryn's memoirs to share a brief glimpse into his four decades together with Gael.
In the first entry, he recounts being stooped over the mangled body of his previous mentor, Magister Tels Aval. Having gone mad with grief and anger after discovering Lliryn's vampirism, Tels locked him up like an animal for two weeks. Gael, who knew Tels had been plagiarizing his research, and wanted to seize Lliryn for his own purposes, set him free on a very dire condition. In the wake of a life-debt, Lliryn is swallowed by the old desirous ache of being coveted and kept, like he once was by the man who led him to Molag Bal's demesne.
In the second entry, Lliryn reflects upon Gael's burdensome legacy: a pursuit of a knowledge that would ultimately elude and destroy him piece by piece.
And in the third: the final moments that they spent together, before the detonation of Red Mountain, at which point they would be forever seperated.
