This is the story of how Josiah Trelawny joined the Dutch Vanderlinde Gang and his long and passionate relationship with Arthur Morgan. I based this off of how I and many others feel there is a lot of secret queer communication in the game, especially from characters like Josiah Trelawny. A lot of things from his dialogue is left in mystery. Stuff which Arthur always seems to understand. So what if some of Arthur and Josiah’s interactions in the game play were coded talk referring to more private moments. A long building love story unfolds.
This story will eventually run past Ch. 6 of the game itself. High Honor. -

Following a night of revelry at the saloon, Arthur, still buzzing from the effects of too many drinks, unexpectedly strikes up a conversation with a stranger he's sure he’s crossed paths with. The familiar feller makes a proposition, offering Arthur a fine amount of cash for what a supposed 'good time.' Now, Arthur ain’t no queer, nor working girl, but the offering of $50 is simply all too alluring.
As many days pass, the aftermath of that peculiar night takes a rather interesting turn. More and more men, predominantly of diverse backgrounds, start seeking out Arthur at the saloon. Notably, many of them are colored or Mexican folk. While Arthur harbors no prejudices based on skin color, he notices an odd pattern with all the men —they all sport identical red and black bandanas. Regardless, Arthur remains indifferent and pays little mind to the fact, so long as the payment remains good.
