When Jungkook, a beta, is tasked with taking care of Taehyung during his preheat, he's determined to do it well. He desperately wants to show his boyfriends, his pack, that he can do a good job- that he can be good. With your guard on the run, you're left in the underground bunker, trapped between the infiltration team, and the gang. Gunfire ensues, and you're unable to do much else than hide.
When your trembling manages to alert one of the soldiers to your location, some terrifying behemoth of muscle of a skull mask, you're left with that fight-or-flight instinct. When running becomes unattainable, you do the unthinkable and inject him with the serum, hoping it buys you enough time to flee elsewhere and barricade yourself until the fight is over.
