Alucard was supposed to rest forever. He had no purpose as far as he knew after he helped killing his own father so his original plan was to immediately submerge his own powers and subject himself into an eternal slumber. His companions did not let him go so easyily at the time though, each of them- they tried helping Alucard by either pestering him, making him go on a journey with them or just never leaving him alone in general because they knew how wrecked he was, to kill your own flesh and blood- it was never easy. Their company delayed the inevitable but in the end, after they all passed, it still happened. So when Alucard suddenly woke up after so long, without knowing as to why his body refused to obey his demands, he reluctantly decides to investigate, to at least see what state that the world is currently in... (Because surely his forced re-awakening must have a meaning, right?)

May include some minor referencing of other games / source material. Trevor, Sypha and Alucard's relationship based off "Under the Milky Way" (quick summary in Ch. 1 end notes) but this story can be read as a standalone. Maria and Richter based off Symphony of the Night and Nocturne of Recollection.

I was really inspired by this concept that Olrox may or may not be Quetzalcoatl the Aztec Creation God, so I will be heading in that direction and exploring it eventually.
How it starts:
"Mizrak comes from a sheltered life to France to study theology at a new college. When his fraternity decides to seal their bond with matching tattoos, he meets the fascinating owner of the tattoo shop: Olrox has only been a vampire for 10-15 years and is struggling with the consequences of his decision, his traumatic past, and the loss of his lover. Soon, Mizrak and Olrox find themselves in the shadows of different dark forces that they can only face together—and possibly with the help of friends and enemies alike."I get into a lot of religious myth and it does get very long! I don't get inspired so frequently, but this cast of characters really grabbed me! I wanted to play with them for a while!

With the return of Alucard among men caused by the sudden rise and fall of his father, Richter is eventually pushed into questioning his “tastes”. It’s not without conflict, as he was always one who held pride in his level of piety. To have suddenly lost your sense of self? It would have any man grasping at straws. Though, with time, it is possible he may find comfort in his skin.
My wish is to attempt at preserving accuracy to the time period as well as I can, not to mention the social customs. Homosexuality was punishable by as much as death at the time (and still is, in some countries), supported by heavy religious influence. This does not mean that homosexuality was not present. Rather, it was kept under tight wraps as to avoid the eyes of the law. I cannot say how this will turn out for our pairing.
I roll out updates quite slowly, but quality over quantity.
Will probably be the length of an epic by the time I’m done, and I will also possibly be making this work a part of a series.
