When one fight with his father and a letter needing to be delivered coincide, Lorenz charges off to House Edmund for a breath of fresh air. Little did he know he caught his friend in her darkest moment, where only he could save her and only she could stop him from doing so. Even if it meant further harming both of them in the process. Instead, everyone not in the house made the decision to fight against the Empire sometime during the time-skip or war phase. My Cysithea week fic also takes place in this universe. I actually have a lot of these written in advance, some longer than others. Also, read oddash's Reconstruction story. It was a huge inspiration for this.
