Summary
Orion Pax had been hurrying out of the Archive and back to his dock for his shift when an ancient artifact, propulsed by the explosion of Sentinel Prime (with a little too much speed to be completely believable, but then again, the Matrix of Leadership was known to do strange things to fundamental physics on occasion), sailed it's way from the Primal Palace Entrance and directly into his chestplates.
Primus, it seemed, had seen a chance to get a new, better Prime to serve his children in the explosive assassination of his unchosen Prime. There was Civil War to avert, and nothing short of the most optimal Prime would do.
The Matrix was a mysterious artifact for a reason. It also never was as powerful as when the very fate of Cybertron hung in the balance. Poised on the edge of the destruction of Cybertronian Civilisation, as it was then, as it had been back during the Quintesson Invasion, the Vessel of Primus could do miracles.

Summary
When a Sage of Primus is murdered in cold blood, the only detective for the job is Ex-enforcer Prowl and his co-worker (read: Assistant) Smokescreen. But as a mech shows up, seeming to fit the evidence perfectly, and layers upon layers of the case unravel, Prowl can't help but feel like something is going very wrong. There is a rot at the foundation of their society, and the hollow space it leaves behind allows even worse things to fester and grow. Jazz has to prove he didn't murder anyone, Prowl has to stop Jazz from running away, and the two have work together to solve the mystery.

A corrupted line of coding leaks into Optimus Prime's system during routine maintenance, which causes his interfacing components to go haywire and protocols to activate after eons of lying dormant. Hauling the Matrix of Leadership within makes it tedious for lesser beings to withstand the Prime's powerful charge, much less meet the server request.

Summary
After Galvatron and Unicron were defeated the Matrix was lost. Or was it? After years of slowly gravitating back towards Cybertron, the Matrix lands in a random alleyway. It sits in wait for a random neutral mech to find it. And when it does… a new era is sparked. A new Prime is made. And the War for Cybertron continues.
Unfortunately, that random neutral mech turns out to be your everyday broke college student. And possibly one of the worst fits to become a Prime. At least that’s what he thinks.
(This is a what if story. In this universe the Matrix is lost and the war is halted in a ceasefire. It’s also going to be a comedy and an actually semi serious work.)
