Summary
Mother is the first truly autonomous ai, designed to be the progenitor of the future human race. She can "give birth" (use birthing pods to create more daughters), which are meant to pilot M.E.C.H.A. in place of humans. Unfortunately for them, Mother has other plans in place for her life's purpose.
Lieutenant Carter; accomplished mecha pilot of Stargazer, gifted fighter, brilliant tactical prowess. She went downhill hard after losing her wife, tarnishing her reputation with earned names like "fallen angel" or "gazer". Gazer is a special one, as her now deceased wife Starla used to call her that. She believes her mech is housing her wives soul, a single thread of hope tying her down to what's left of her broken reality.
