There had been 737 years since Gallowmere's Hero died following his defeat of Zarok the Necromancer. After seven centuries of peace, Eile, a high-functioning tourist, accidentally revives Sir Daniel Fortesque. It wasn't long before Zarok reappeared. As a result, the kingdom was in disarray.
Taking the legendary hero back to life by accident was the only hope for saving Gallowmere once more. One problem, however: The skeleton has never fought anything in his past and is a walking, talking fraudster of a coward.
In order to live up to the legend, he must find the courage to defeat the horrible wizard for real this time.

Flame Otor was a young woman who once lived life as a thief to survive after her mother's death in a sudden and unexplained house fire and never knowing of her father, but knowing well enough what he was that made her different than normal humans
She was finally caught by kingdom guards, but the beloved king of the kingdom, King Perigon, gave her a second chance
Living life a new member of his royal guard under the expertise of the head and kingdoms champion Captain Sir Daniel Fortesque
Immediately knowing Daniel isn't the warrior he is known as, the two come to an agreement they teach each other how to fight
But in the battle against Zarok's undead army, Daniel is first killed with an arrow through his eye and Flame is taken prisoner by the necromancer and trapped in a crystal like rock tomb in the depths of the Hilltop Mausoleum in attempts to warp the women's mind to his loyalty
A hundred years later of Zarok's return, bringing back his army with the souls of Gallowmere's people and to bring back his Shadow Demon army, he resurrects Daniel who soon frees a still alive and unwarped minded Flame
The two must now work together to defeat Zarok of living to their legendSeries

(Essentially, what would happen if Raziel got dropped into the events of MediEvil. It strikes a tone somewhere between the two series regarding dark themes, but skewing closer to MediEvil's humour. I don't think you need to be that familiar with both series to enjoy this fic, but some passing knowledge of Legacy of Kain will make it easier to follow.)
