Summary
Thirteen and a half years have passed since the battle of New York, and the Avengers are still working as a team. Granted, some of their members have other preoccupations now that they have moved forward with their lives. Clint and Natasha have two children and are part-time Avengers/part-time SHIELD. The two parents work hard as they can, while still having energy to take care of seven year-old hyperactive, sweet Serafima and adopted thirteen year-old potential-troublemaker and stubborn Ilari. The family is strong, despite the increasingly frequent arguments between Ilari and Clint.
Clint and Natasha pair are the greatest super-spy duo that the world has ever seen, and amazing parents, but their luck could only last so long...
Clint must deal with the loss of his wife and partner, the one thing that had kept him stable and sane for years, while taking care of his children. He is overcome with grief and guilt, leading to some bad decisions, which in turn leads Ilari to make some of his own. The archer must overcome the loss and deal with the pressing matters of the future, but will he be able to put the raw pain behind him or will Ilari and Serafima pay the price?
