As the goddess looked over him worriedly, Tommy stared over the crater before him. The plants were finally beginning to creep back around the burnt edges, and Tommy knew that after a few months, the crater would be full of life again.
Tommy’s eyes were starting to flood, the memories of times so simple coming back to him. Times of love, joy, togetherness, and friendship reminded him of how little he had now.
