Midoriya Izuku is Quirkless, no special power about him. Plain-looking, not much to tell about the boy hidden in the back of the classroom... just the way he likes it. Abuse from his classmates has taught Izuku how to keep his head down to not draw attention, memory has taught him how to hide in the shadows; to keep out of sight.
Izuku is going to be a hero, if only to prove everyone else wrong about people without superpowers. He's gone up against the Red Death, Drago's Bewilderbeast, and taken down Grimmel with his dragons, for Odin's sake, of course he's gonna prove them all wrong.

Midoriya Izuku is the son of Toshinori Yagi, greatest of all Vikings. By all means, he should know at least how to handle an axe. Except he didn't. Izuku wanted to be a Viking, but he didn't know how. And it was all the more difficult when he was constantly being overshadowed by Todoroki Shouto, the most promising Viking amongst the youth.
When a faithful encounter at the woods changes his life forever, Izuku will learn what it means to be a true Viking, and what it means to fall in love with one.

Summary
Despite being the son of the chief, Midoriya Izuku is the outcast of Musutafu. He is nothing like the other Vikings, which has resulted in being plainly ignored and teased by all the teens his age. His big crush, Bakugo Katsuki, is nothing but rude to him and always feels the need to one up him. One day, Izuku shoots down a Night Fury and he finally get his chance to fix everything.
Until he somehow finds himself becoming best friends with the dragon.
