David Shaw is newly in charge of the ranch that has been in his family for multiple generations. He’s struggling with the new weight of responsibilities, having to go from working the ranch and hanging out with the workers that felt more like family, to being their boss and protecting the ranch from outside forces that would see it torn down. Watching those around him grow and find love while he walks his halls alone.
The ball of chaos that showed up on his ranch asking for a job and won’t stop flirting with him was an added complication he didn’t expect.

Summary
After his father's death, David moved to Dahlia city to branch out his dad's tattoo business: Shaw Tattoo Parlor, and to escape the memories from the original store that only remind him of his dad. Everything goes fine, until a certain flower shop opens from across the street. Asher becomes enthralled by a certain babe. One of the employees at the flower shop comes over to annoy him, and yet he might even enjoy their company.
Then trouble comes, when Milo finds a particular investigator saying that a drug cartel is working in their area. Soon strange things happen around the block, and the tattoo shop gets involved. David finds a familiar face through all the strangeness, and tries to keep the business going through all of it.

The Dahlia Dires are in for a hell of a season. They just squeaked in to qualify for the Stanley Cup Playoffs for the first time since their coach Gabe Shaw had played for the Dires himself years ago. On top of that, their team owner William Solaire managed to recruit star-player Huxley, fresh out of his graduation, to add to their lineup as a terrifyingly powerful defenseman.
