Tsukasa wakes up to buzzing white noise and a dry mouth. His room is at least ten degrees colder than when he went to bed and his blanket feels far too thin on account of that. He curls in on himself but notices his body feels.. longer? And lethargic, like he hasn’t drank water in far too many hours and like he didn’t go to bed exactly at 10:00 pm, which he knows he did; but he blames that on waking up before his alarm.

Rui wakes up to an alarm blaring to his right. He groans loudly and throws his hand over to feel around and press snooze as he usually does. He yawns loudly and continues dozing off, brain instantly slipping back into sleep.
When his alarm sounds again he reluctantly sits up and rubs his eyes, feeling faintly more refreshed than usual, before opening his eyes to turn his alarm off, but when he opens his eyes his surroundings hit him. The alarm continues sounding.
