Feather is dead. Fire’s fate is unknown. Nothing had followed Ghost to find the Shifting Place only to find herself in the harsh climates of the Stretch again. In the heat of the dry season, Nothing stumbles upon a small stream. Due to days on the Stretch without water, Nothing immediately drinks from the stream.

Summary

After days of searching for somewhere to call their territory, Weasel hears about Hunt Chiefs, powerful and respected lionesses who earned their positions not by being born that way but by time spent honing their skills through discipline. Despite having a burning hatred for pride culture, Weasel dreams of earning this very title, but unfortunately, her dreams cause nightmares for others.
OR Weasel ends up treating everyone like crap so she can feel special.

Decided to re-write this puppy, as I wasn't all that proud of the previous version (• ▽ •;)
Clingermane, a shy lion who had to pick one out of two choices in a cruel world; either starve out on the prideless stretch or earn a pride by getting rid of a former leader.
In a vicious world, he chose to be kind. Simply wanting to drive the former ruler away from his land, refusing to fight them till one of them falls.
Unfortunately, good intentions don't always equal good results.
OR Clingermane picks the "wrong" option and is forced to live the consequences. Those consequences being "being forced to live with the psycho chick that wants him gone, out of the picture for good"

This AU starts when Starmane instead of dying yields in his battle with Quick and takes Spark and his daughter with him when he leaves and Fire is forced to run away when he finds out Quickmane has taken over his pride. Star(Starmane) meets a mother lioness and her cub on the stretch before his kids die of dehydration and she decides to teach him how to hunt and Fire is found passed out on a maneless pride's territory and they take him in.
