Summary
The Straw Hats get stuck on an island for a few days because of a long storm, and Sunny needs a few repairs that could take a bit. The crew stays on the island at a hotel to wait out the storm. It was a nice Island and the people were nice, but the only downside was that they were very traditional in the gender role aspect, more specifically, the gender role of females, as in how they act, dress, and how they take part in society.
Zora didn’t meet any of the women's beauty standards, unlike the other two women on the crew, who were seen as goddesses by the people. Because of this, her stay wasn’t that pleasant.
Takes place about two months after the second book

Nami can't believe what she just did. Saving a pirate's life? She hates pirates... but there's something different about this one. The freedom these pirates have to risk their own life is something she doesn't have and maybe that's why it hurts so much.

I went all the way back to the start on this one, folks. Rewatching the East Blue episodes and it got me nostalgic here. A little trauma for Nami, thinking about the freedom that Luffy and Zoro revel in, and that she can never have.

Each time they found themselves in the throes of passion, sweaty limbs tangled together, she couldn’t help but wonder if it would be like this with anyone else. There was something more, something unspoken, yet so very prevalent between them. Or maybe that was just her.
