When Cassidy was alive and he began to get night terrors, his father William ignored it until the screaming became too much to bare. He begins working on something that could change his son's life forever. A machine that extracts night terrors and leaks them into the real world. Without telling Cassidy that crucial bit of information, he sets up the machine and all the horrors are leaked somewhere only William knows.
Meanwhile, a young girl called Ruth stumbles across a news clipping while reading the morning paper...

Summary
Michael, Phone Guy, and Jeremy finally get around into looking into the Golden Freddy ghost that has been appearing around the restaurant.
They discover it to be Michael's brother Evan, but upon trying to talk to him realize he's still angry about what Michael did to him - scratch that, he's pissed, and in exchange for all the fear Michael caused him when he was alive, Evan decides to return the favor. Taking the nightmares from his own mind and setting them loose on Michael and his friends.
