Once upon another time, Cham Syndulla considered his life to be a fairytale. He had a beautiful wife, a fiery daughter with a brilliant mind, and an enviable military career. That was once upon another time, before cancer claimed his Ellie, before his fractured relationship with his daughter was rapidly reaching irreparable, and before all that was left of the man he'd once been was the cold and callous General Cham Syndulla.
Now that his daughter is getting married, Cham has to decide if he's willing to reopen old wounds and revisit the past to reconcile with Hera or if he'll let his pain keep him from remembering once upon another time when he actually believed that happily ever after existed.
