Summary
Between the oxygen deprivation, space-chill, and mid-level concussion, Omega was happy to be wheeled away from the ship as soon as they docked back on their homeship, The Rancor’s Tooth. On the outside, the familiar hull of her ship was scored with carbon residue, and it looked like the higher computer controls had been completely shredded, which was sobering.
Omega had her own history of near-death experiences, after all, but it had been many years since she last had to look so plainly at the fact that she had very nearly almost died.
After a close call with the Rebellion, Omega is sent home on leave. Pabu and her brothers are waiting for her.
