Summary
The camcorder sits open on the car’s dash with his innie’s face frozen on the foldout screen. There’d been no reason for Mark Scout to watch the recording again; he has it almost memorized by this point, at least the part that matters. His innie’s words still ring in his ears, said flippantly and jovially and with no idea how they’d affect him. Strange, too, since they’re the same person.
“You know, I’ve been thinking—I’ve met Helena a few times now. Maybe you should meet Helly?”
He’d heard nothing from Helly since they’d started this arrangement, and he’d begun to give up hope he ever would. Why would he anyway? She doesn’t know him. But still, every time his innie sends him a message, he studies the corners of each frame for a glimpse of her, turns the volume up in the hopes he’ll hear the whisper of her voice.
--
A year and a half post-Cold Harbor, Mark Scout and Helena Eagan drive to Damon Birthing Retreat each weekend so that their innies can spend time together. When Mark's innie gets the bright idea for Mark Scout and Helly R. to meet, things start to unravel.

Summary
My father watched every move I ever made from the moment I was born, until I found a way to set myself free...Tying a noose with an extension cord in a lifeless silver elevator. Hoisting myself up on a bin and draining my life away as it rose towards his office. It took 15 minutes for someone to find me and 2 weeks in the ICU for me to wake up. My father never visited, opting instead to send me away somewhere I would have no control. Lumon. My prison.
*AU Severance (without the severance procedure). Helena ends up in a mental health ward after a life long fight to take away her fathers formidable control of her body (and life). With Mark, Dylan and Irving by her side, she is forced to face the music but the journey to healing is not an easy one*.

And now she’s gone.

Summary
A girl catches his eye there, she’s with two other girls, yet she doesn’t seem engaged with them. She looks all bone and skin, pale as the way his knuckles look when he clenches his steering wheel as tight as he can, when he wills himself not to drive himself into a ditch. A redhead, darker than just plain ginger, it almost reminds him of copper. She has a drink in her hand, something that has a cherry perched on top of the ice, melting slowly without her caring, the glass is still entirely full.
He remembers vague things from his elective course of Greek history. Helen of Troy had been so beautiful that they launched thousands of ships to bring her back home once Paris had kidnapped her. Men fought for her, she had been regarded as the most beautiful woman in the world, men had become fools in their conquest for her. He went abroad one year, studied in Portugal on some grant he miraculously got, they called her Helena there, they said it’s believed to be the closest to the real translation of her name.
or; mark scout starts an affair with a stranger he meets at the bar.

Summary
“We know each other down there, don’t we?” He asks, but he doesn’t phrase it like a question. Doesn't see the point, not when they both already know the answer.
Helena’s face flickers. For a second, she almost looks rattled, and hides the rest of her reaction behind a sip of whiskey. The bottle clinks in the silence that stretches, her hand slowly falling away from the counter.
“We do.” She eventually says.
