Transylvania! Can you imagine? Of all the places for her to be, the heart of Romania was the last place I expected. In fact, it wasn’t even on the itinerary. So how does one manage to stray so far from what was essentially a loop? Rest assured, that was one of the first things I asked her when we found a moment alone.
Her answer did not put me at ease.
After Lucy gets lost on a tour of Europe, Mina receives word her girlfriend is staying at Dracula’s estate via a letter inviting her to come.
So she goes. Obviously.
And she realizes something is very wrong.

Tumblr user heartlesslywhumping posted the following (link here): "Whump prompt #328: Every so often the whumper makes the whumpee roll dice. The number on the dice is how long they will go next without a necessity (food, water, shelter, medicine, clothes if you go there)."
Well, I didn't go there, exactly, but I went MEGA DARK all the same.
Or, Mina, Jonathan, and the Suitor Squad are locked in a room, and Dracula gives Mina a choice--let him feed from her, or roll a die to determine how long her friends have to go without food. Of course, there's something he's not telling them about the "food" they're getting... Meanwhile, Mina's struggling to stay alive and in control as her vampire side grows.
This isn't going to go well.
