The story begins when Legosi dumps Juno, there she meets a cute golden labrador who-after seeing his best friend dump her-decides to reach out and try to provide her some comfort. The dog and the wolf fall for each other almost instantly, and they seal their love as a promise under the stars.
However, a dark turn drives them into investigating Tem's unsolved murder, a shadow that constantly looms over Cherryton. This event not only will put their love and bond to trial, but also put their friendships on the line and make them question how far are they willing to go for the other.
Author's note: This fic as been reworked and I changed a few elements of it for the sake of it. If you already gave it a read you may want to re-start from chapter 3.
