Zib's band is in financial trouble, and their manager, Mordecai, decides the best way to get money fast is to marry Zib off to a wealthy lady, much to his chagrin. The lady in question, Mitzi, turns out to not be so bad though, and feelings blossom anyway.
But things take a turn for the weird and the macabre when Zib, completely by accident, marries a dead man.
Or, the plot of Corpse Bride, but with Lackadaisy characters, and hopefully enough changes to make things interesting.

Virgil may not be the sharpest tool in the shed but what if he remembered something peculiar about the killer.

Rocky has burned himself out from exhaustion, mainly from keeping an eye on the speakeasy from shady associates. It was as if he was getting suffocated little by little until he couldn't hold his breath anymore.
Lo and behold, he got sick.
Rocky is forced to stay away from Lackadaisy until he got better, but for how long? He has a feeling that something is off and his cousin was acting rather - strangely.
No matter how long it was going to take, Rocky Rickaby is going to make a run for it.
