Summary
There are, realistically, not a lot of situations where lying is the way to go. Lying, generally, creates more problems than not, and you always felt that it was better to be clear, concise, and honest.
That's not to say you're against lying. Just that there's hardly any time that lying is useful. Lying to make yourself look more cool is bound to backfire, and lying to hide wrongdoing is pointless if there is no wrong you want to do. Sometimes lying is necessary — sometimes it protects yourself and others — but other times, lying is completely pointless and just serves to complicate matters. When it comes to relationships, it really is best to be honest.
