Following a brutal attack that left her severally injured and former guardian dead, Patricia wakes up from a coma to find out that her best friend, Marie, has not only been given another placement, but she isn't responding to her messages either. Thankfully, they conveniently start at the same high school, where Patricia learns what her friend has been going through the past few months at the hands of her new foster mother. Not being able to stand the abuse her friend is being put through, Patricia realizes she needs a plan.
A plan to get Marie out of there.
