Summary
Vex'ahlia and Vax'ildan have just escaped from a Marquesian prison after a year and a half abroad and return home to find their mother murdered and Tal'dorei under the grip of a conclave of sorcerers that brutally murder anyone in their path.
Not willing to let the murder of her mother go unanswered, Vex decides to rally the support of a group of misfit outlaws in the woods, as well as the secret support of a mysterious nobleman to become the most infamous outlaw in Tal'dorei with one goal: To bring down the Chroma Conclave.
