England April 1801.
A reluctant Benjamin Tallmadge arrives in England at the request of Peggy Arnold. Benedict is dying. Peggy begs Benjamin to come in the hopes it will give Benedict the strength to fight the gout that is threatening to claim his life. Secrets are revealed as Benedict tells the tale in his own words. Benjamin is forced to accept the horrible truth...too late.
NOTE: Benedict Arnold dies in June 1801. Hence Major Character Death, alert. This is not a fix it story.
