Summary
Nocturn can't sleep, and he's decided to make that someone else's problem.
But when he goes to bother Clockwork, he finds that the Master of Time is busy teaching the ghost boy a lesson, so Nocturn strikes up a conversation with the halfa's sister instead. To his delight, he finds her much better company than he expected, and he soon finds himself making an offer to the young girl.
Nocturn might not have a single parental instinct in his entire core, but even he can't deny that Jazz Fenton is something special.

Summary
Danny Fenton is a totally normal guy; he has a wife, two kids, and a mortgage. He's happy with his lot in life, where he works a regular 9 to 5, and his biggest adventure is a ski trip once a year.
But that normal life is shattered when, on his 34th birthday, he finds out that his estranged parents have died in a lab accident and they've left him everything, including his childhood home. Soon he finds himself back in his old hometown along with his sister to sort out their affairs, where long-forgotten memories keep resurfacing everywhere he turns. However, the house isn't the only thing that is waiting for Danny when he comes to visit; it turns out that his parents had been working on a major project right up until the end, and their crazy theories about ghosts and a place called the Ghost Zone might not have been so crazy after all...

Summary
Accepting Clockwork's offer to become his apprentice in exchange for freedom from the Fenton Thermos was only meant to be temporary. Dan figured he'd find a way to break free soon enough to resume his rampage and pursue his revenge on his younger self. But as time passes, Dan comes to find that he actually enjoys working with Clockwork, and as the pair of them begin to bond, he soon forgets all about his plans to escape.
But just as Dan starts to get comfortable in his new role, disaster strikes. He's now stuck serving as the Master of Time, trying to hold all of reality together after time itself is shattered, while his younger self is lost in the past, desperately attempting to piece Clockwork's core back together. It's a race against the clock to fix everything before time is broken forever, but thankfully they may just get a little bit of help in completely unexpected places.
One thing's for sure. Once the dust settles, the Infinite Realms will never be the same again.
