Summary
Because why not. Contains the unquestioned creation of utterly disposable slave labor, the sudden ability to give computer programs the ultimate power of hope and light, and Data-Riku being the only thing making this even vaguely tolerable.

Summary
"When comparing the 2010s-era Young Justice cartoon with the late 90s comic of the same name, it’s not unreasonable to start with the question, 'What do they have in common?' And, as someone who knows both, it’s tempting to say, simply, 'The name,' and leave it at that. The two stories are vastly different entities. But if you boil them down to their essence, the core difference between them is…surprisingly simple.
Young Justice the cartoon is a coming-of-age story. It’s about growing up.
Young Justice the comic is a being-of-age story. It’s about being young. And that makes all the difference."

MCU's story of Carol Danvers is an intimate tale of self-discovery, knowing oneself, and embracing oneself as one is. It is not a classic confrontation between good and evil, yet people either complain that there is no villain, or that the villain is an obvious caricature. Well, here are some words on this.

On Showing & Telling in Captain Marvel and Its Flaws by Ratzinger
Fandoms: Captain Marvel (2019), Marvel Cinematic Universe

Summary
The film's writing fails to sufficiently show the internal struggle and emotional impact that the twists that propel the story forward have on Carol Danvers. This chops away at good main character-writing and leads to misguided criticisms that she goes through no arc, does not change, and is an altogether poor addition to the MCU. It is a legitimate concern that will hopefully be remedied in the future.

This started out as just an analysis to hash out how Sauron interacted with Tar-Míriel when he was ingratiating himself with Númenor, but then I ended up making myself invested in shipping them together XD.
Hey, I have to go where my canon analysis takes me ;)

There's so much to extrapolate from the conceptualization of the Maralto and the Process. When I first watched 3%, I've noticed that the system was further explained and explored every season, each time showing a different layer.

Witchers feel emotions, Renfri wasn't a monster, Roach is chill, Geralt prefers nonhuman company and lies a lot, Jaskier is generally good at people but is happy to ignore what they say, Yennefer's life is abuse piled atop abuse with a sprinkle of ethnic cleansing and a complete lack of choice, Istredd's life likely wasn't much better, Tissaia does not know what she's doing, Triss is lying about being assigned to cure the princess, Jaskier is surprisingly tolerant of Geralt getting him on Calanthe's shitlist, Kalis was in a bad situation and didn't rise above it, it really shouldn't surprise people Yennefer gets weird about having a kid, rogue mages are afraid of the Brotherhood but it seems to be a paper tiger, Jaskier took being dumped by the countess really hard but despite his own problems he's concerned for Geralt, Geralt was fine with having sex with Yennefer but concerned she had some other plot. Yennefer doesn't believe anyone cares about her or could possibly care about her.
Ch25: Geralt lives in a world where people so constantly do things he considers monstrous he's given up on even mentioning it to them, and this episode takes place in the shadow of that mental weight.

Who Knew the Truth About the Wen Remnants? by Karmiya

Summary
An essay on the subject of the Wen remnants. Who knew that they were non-combatants? Were the sects really the victims of a misinformation campaign as much of fandom argues, or did they all willingly go the Burial Mounds to massacre a group of people who they knew were innocent?
I will argue the latter. A close reading of the novel text proves that the sects were all either well aware of who the Wens under Wei Wuxian's protection were, or made an active choice not to know.
