Expect it does.
Jax learns pretending not to care doesn’t mean it’s true, and that the circus doesn’t function as he’d convinced himself it does.

I am just starting this fic so congrats if you want to read this fic. The basis of this is I had a c.ai chat and I was bored. A new, Anthro-Cat player shows up minutes after Pomni and does shit with the cast. A lot of slightly unimportant details that my brain is determined to figure out(such as how Kinger and Zooble eat, and what is under Kinger's robe) will be figured out... Yaaay.
Anyway, yada yada yada... A lot of the characters may be Out Of Character because my perceptions and HeadCanons are happening. This Summary is subject to and likely will change.

Pomni snorted.
“Don’t or can’t?”
“Third option: won’t!”
He punctuated his sentence with a light flick to the jester's forehead.
“Alright.”
She sighed dramatically, throwing her hands, and the skates, in the air in defeat. She started skating towards the rink entrance and called back towards the booth.
“I guess I’ll just go skate with Ragatha and Kinger then, have fun moping!”
Jax’s ear twitched in annoyance. Before his brain could catch up with him, he’d already bolted out of his seat and snatched the roller skates from Pomni’s raised hand.
“Fine! If you insist.”

Another day, another adventure. This time though, the tables are turned – it's time to partner up, and Pomni is expected to make nice-nice with Jax. Great, getting picked on for being the newbie! Sounds like a whole lotta fun.
