“Hallo,” Erik called from the living room as he heard the front door open. “Did you have a good day at school, Wanda?”
Footsteps paused in the front hall and then the sound of two muffled voices whispering to each other before Wanda replied, “It was alright. What are you doing at home? Shouldn’t you still be at work?”
“Took the day off,” Erik replied, “Why? Wishing I wasn’t here?” He asked, his voice light, as though he didn’t know and his goal wasn’t to guilt his girl or anything.

Erik is at home instead of at work when his daughter gets home from school. Only she’s not alone, her boyfriend is with her and Erik struggles with the idea of her trying to bring him into an empty house so the two teens could have some alone time. -

Vision looks at her, then, eyes slightly wider than she’s used to, and slows to a stop.
“Wanda,” his voice is quiet and almost scandalized, blocking the light as he stands over her. “Did I startle you?”
“No, just.” She shakes her head and laughs politely. “Um. It’s still there.”
He nods slowly as if he understands. She smiles. A moment passes.
“What’s still there?” he asks.
A smudge. Right down the center of the Stone.
She wants to remove it.
