Not Prince Jace though. Jace was a monster hunter and as such, he still worshiped at the temple. On his knees, at the feet of his god, Lord Alexander, the god of the hunt and protector of hunters.
Until he comes across his god at a lake in the forest and he is overcome with the desire to worship his god in a different way.
Alec finds the prince both spoiled and entertaining, so he gives him the chance to earn the god's touch.

Magnus nods numbly. Sure. The future. Why not. This day really couldn’t get any more bizarre. First he finds Circle members doing business in his club, the audacity, then he bumps into Clary Fairchild of all people— all grown up now apparently, Lillith does time fly by when one’s immortal, then he gets kidnapped by some manic rainbow deity who wants him to watch the future.
He wants a drink. Maybe seven. Of the ‘so alcoholic your liver will fail just by looking at it‘ variety.‘

Sighing she rolled her eyes, “Simon, you should ask him out on a date instead of pining over him like some love struck idiot.”
Jace scowled, turning away from her and stalking down the hall in an attempt to get away from her and the ridiculous conversation. “I’m not pining,” he mumbled under his breath. He wasn’t pining. He didn’t do pining, no he was the one people pined over, not the other way round. And anyway, he didn’t want to date Simon. He just wanted to have sex with him, vigorously and often as well as maintain their current friendship. That wasn’t dating, it was friends with benefits except Simon didn’t do stuff like that. He was Mr. Relationship and Jace, wasn’t.

Alec adapts to his new life, becoming first a prisoner and then a lover to Jace and later to Jonathan as well, learning to enjoy belonging to them in all ways. Valentine believes Jace and Jonathan are fully under his control and that they have managed to break Alec completely.
