The air was thick, tainted with a chemical sharpness that clung to the back of his throat, though the filtration pods in their noses were designed to neutralise Scarecrow’s standard toxin, there was something about this haze that unsettled him.
He disliked the not knowing, the shadows without clear edges. Father had spoken only briefly before they split to investigate. A new strain, still under analysis, still unpredictable.

Scarecrow hard-launches a new fear toxin, where everyone in the affected persons vicinity gets thrown into their nightmares too. Tim just so happened to forget his ventilators that day.

Las ventanas estaban tapiadas, así que no podía ver dentro, el cabrón de Máscara Negra siempre sabía lo que se hacía, asegurándose de atar bien todos los cabos, pero Jason no iba a dejar que siguiera actuando con libertad por mucho más tiempo.
Red Hood todavía no era un nombre conocido en Gotham, pues tan solo hacía unos pocos meses que Jason había regresado a casa y todavía estaba preparándose para cuando se dejara ver en público de nuevo. Pero eso no significaba que fuera a dejar que Máscara Negra siguiera vendiendo su mierda cerca de los niños del Callejón del Crimen sin ninguna represalia. Sería discreto, porque aún no había decidido cómo abordar el enorme problema que representaban la gran cantidad de mafias y bandas de Gotham, pero no se quedaría de brazos cruzados.

Summary
Timothy Jackson Drake exhaled a shallow breath, hands shaking above his keyboard. The orphaned twice over boy had found his second father when all thought he was dead. He nervously brought his finger down on the 'enter' button of his keyboard, forwarding an email to the other end, said end being the one and only Justice League. As Tim leaned back into his chair, he brought his hands to his face, he hadn't stopped shaking, but in the moment he couldn't care less. He released quite sobs as he peeked through his fingers, staring at the 'message sent' note on his screen. He was relieved he could finally go home to Gotham, to his family, and that he would be far, far, away, from the League of Assassins.

The same acidic hue that pervaded his psyche and breathed life back into his broken and battered body.
Jason had nearly succeeded, beat the tar out of Tim in Titan’s Tower and left him for dead, drew enough blood to write his name on the wall and everything - not his finest hour.To try and compare that with Jason’s current predicament would be funny if it weren’t so sad.
