There are hundred of stories about him in these wasted lands, all contradictory, but all true. His name is Max and he's a legend, not a man.

Mad Max movies are all fantastic, but there is no sense of cohesiveness between them, especialy with timeline. This is a tentative answer to this mess relying on some quotes stating that Max is more legend than man.

Summary
Furiosa thought the last promise she had to keep was returning home. Once she learns that home isn't where she thought it was anymore, she follows Valkyrie to where the rest of the Vulvalini have gone. She encounters a few familiar faces there, but one of them is one that she never thought she'd see again.
Everything about this is impossible, and trying to accept it is almost harder than surviving in the Wasteland had been. She is an outsider among her own people, but at least she isn't the only one.
