He's not Batman's partner—hasn't been for years. He's not a Titan either. He's just... Dick Grayson, and he's starting to think that might not be enough.

Cass moves to Blüdhaven to escape Steph's ghost and somehow adopts a depressed acrobat. Dick's life just fell apart but he's still out here teaching basic life skills and that your entire personality can't just be "fights crime." Unsurprisingly, this doesn't stop either of them from being absolute disasters.

Dick Grayson never expected it to get this bad- and then it did. But he's fine, right up until he isn't. Sitting on the edge of a bridge, he starts to wonder what it would be like if he just let go- there wouldn't be any more sleepless nights, he wouldn't have to feel phantom hands running across his body, wouldn't have to live with the knowledge that he was broken.
He was starting to scare himself- he wasn't sure if he wanted to die. He pulled out his phone, hand hovering over his contacts before clicking on one labelled as Little Wing. He called, and then he called again, and again. Feeling tears run down his face, he left a voicemail, taking a deep breath. This was it.

But it probably could’ve been worse. Point is, all his cases are closed, and he doesn’t have a job because it blew up and he doesn’t have a home because it blew up and he doesn’t have a brother because he blew up. No, that happened before. Jason’s back now. Right.
Bruce told him to take a break. So maybe that’s what he’s doing. He’s taking a break. He’s blinking, long and slow.
